At the beginning of September 2021, Mapsi Photonics has started the development of the production laboratory, which will be key for the production of the disruptive Mapsi Photonics infrared filters.

It is expected to be fully operational at the end of 2021 !!

Mapsi Photonics has been one of the seven participants of the First Deep Tech Seed Investment Forum, which took place on October 14th, 2021.

The objective of this initiative is to connect disruptive entrepreneurial projects, coming from Catalan universities and other research centers, with the investment ecosystem (business angels, venture capital firms, corporate venturing, family offices and other investment groups, etc.).

Our CEO, David Cardador Maza, has presented Mapsi Photonics business model and the innovative technology that backs this deep tech project.

Mapsi Photonics SL becomes a member of the European Photonics Industry Consorptium (EPIC) https://www.epic-assoc.com/

EPIC is the industry association that promotes the sustainable development of organisations working in the field of photonics in Europe. EPIC members encompass the entire value chain from LED lighting, Photovoltaic solar energy, Photonics Integrated Circuits, Optical components, Lasers, Sensors, Imaging, Displays, Projectors, Optic fiber, and other photonic related technologies.

Mapsi Photonics understand EPIC as a key platform for the networking, marketing and growth.

Mapsi Photonics has been selected as one of the participants of the 6th Edition of the Cornellà Open Future (COF) acceleration program. The COF will be held from September to December 2021.

This program, joint venture of Open Innovation, SLU (Telefónica) and Ayuntamiento de Cornellà (Baix Llobregat), aims to support entrepreneurial talent by turning ideas into successful businesses in a program under the umbrella of the global platform Telefónica Open Future.
